ABOUT THE WAI-WAI

The Wai-Wai are one of nine Indigenous Amerindian tribes of Guyana - a community whose name comes from "wewe," meaning "children of the forest." Known for their deep connection to nature and each other, the Wai-Wai embody a subsistence way of life built on resilience, unity and respect for the land.

Inspired by the community spirit and strength of my ancestors, I created Wai Way: a coaching movement that empowers women to reconnect with their inner resourcefulness, honour their individuality and draw strength from a like-minded collective.

At Wai Way, you’ll gain the knowledge, tools and support to step into your most authentic power - building a strong, energised body and lifestyle that looks as good as it feels.

Here, you're not just transforming alone. You're becoming part of a community where every woman’s journey is celebrated.

WORK STILL TO BE DONE

The health and fitness industry has long operated within narrow, binary and cisnormative frameworks - leaving too many people unseen and unsupported.

As a cis woman, I speak from my own lived experience but I am committed to using my platform to uplift and amplify the voices of those who exist proudly outside these limits.

At Wai Way, my goal is to create a space where anyone who identifies as a woman - as well as members of the non-binary community - feel welcomed, respected and empowered on their health and fitness journey.

True wellbeing should be inclusive. The work continues, and I am here for it.
